Budget Work Meeting Minutes May 28, 2018

Minutes of Fairview City Council Budget Work Meeting held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at 8:00 p.m. in the council room located at 85 South State Street, City of Fairview, Sanpete County, State of Utah.

Mayor David Taylor called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m.  Council Members present were Cliff Wheeler, Casey Anderson, KaeLyn Sorensen, Bob St. Jacques, and Mike Jarman, and City employee Jan Anderson.  An invocation was offered of Mayor David Taylor.

The purpose of the work meeting was to review the budget for fiscal year ending

June 30, 2019, again before final approval in June.

Mayor Taylor addressed with the Council that Horrocks put a notice out for bid on the repair of the well known as Sammy’s well.  Only two responded.  One of which was disqualified.  Hoping to put a camera down the well hoping to find the problem and then go from there.

The Council went over the general fund line by line, in hopes of lowering the cost of transferring money from the enterprise funds.

The meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
